Product Description

Methyl Cellulose MC Food Grade and Pharmaceutical Grade Cellulose from PTMATECH

Methylcellulose (MC) is a water-soluble polymer cellulose ether formed by etherification polymerization of natural cotton fibers. The ptmatech supplied MC combines many physical and chemical reactions, making it a unique product with multiple uses.

Methyl cellulose (MC) is physiologically inert.

MC is widely used in medicine, food and cosmetics as a thickener, protective colloid, auxiliary emulsifier, pigment, adhesive and film-forming agent for tablets, as well as as the matrix for suspension or viscous eye drops, as well as as a stabilizer for drugs, as the main raw material for internal laxatives, mouthwashes and eye contact ocular wetting liquid, and also as a skeleton material. MC prepares hydrophilic gel skeleton sustained-release preparations, Microporous or multi-layer coated slow-release formulations, low viscosity 55RT20 is generally used as an emulsifier for oil-in-water emulsions: 55PT2500 and 55PT4500 are commonly used for solubilization, thickening, suspension aid, and tablet adhesion.
