Hydropropyl Methyl Cellulose HPMC

Publish Time: 2020-08-18     Origin: Site

Hydropropyl Methyl Cellulose [HPMC, MHPC] is made from natural polymer cellulose as raw material by the process of etherification reaction, a non-ionic, odorless, tasteless white powder cellulose ether. This Cellulose ethers can be agent of water retention, thickening, adhesive, and dispersing, as well as a agent of protective colloid, stabilizer, suspension and film forming.

Performance

In wet  mortar, the Cellulose Ethers can stabilize the air bubbles caused by the mixing and stirring through the group of Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic, extending the working time of mortar, and strengthening the water retention and adhesive.

Mixing Process

HPMC can be directly mixed with hydrate and allowed to water slowly.
