Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose Ethers HEMC

Product Description

Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose Ethers HEMC

Physical properties
1. Appearance: HEMC is white or off-white fibrous or granular powder; odorless.
2. Solubility: The HE model in HEMC can be dissolved in both cold and hot water, and the H model can only be dissolved in cold water. HEMC is insoluble in most organic solvents. After surface treatment, HEMC disperses in cold water without agglomeration and dissolves slowly, but it can be quickly dissolved by adjusting its pH value to 8 ~ 10.
3. Ph stability: The pH value has a small change in viscosity within the range of 2 ~ 12, and the viscosity decreases beyond this range.
4. Granularity: 99% for 40 mesh, 100% for 80 mesh.
5. Apparent density: 0.30-0.60g / m3.
6. HEMC has the characteristics of thickening, suspension, dispersion, adhesion, emulsification, film formation, water retention, etc. Its water retention is stronger than methyl cellulose, and its viscosity stability, mold resistance and dispersion are stronger than hydroxyethyl cellulose.

Main Applications

Used in water soluble latex coating, construction and building materials, ink&oil, and oil drillings.

Building Materials: Cement based plastering mortar, gypsum based plaster, gypsum products, masonry mortar, joint filler, tile adhesive mortar, and concrete panels.

Packaging, storage and transportation
1. HEMC : 25 kg/bag
2. during transportation, there must be no damage; as this HEMC product is easy to moisture, pay attention to rain, sun and moisture; during storage, it must be placed in a ventilated and dry place, and the unused part must be sealed in time.
