Hydroxypropyl Starch Ethers HPS

Product Description

Hydroxypropyl Starch Ethers HPS for Bond Mortar Admixtures

HYDROXYPROPYL STARCH [HPS]

HPS Overview
Hydroxypropyl starch ether  HPS is an ionic starch ether produced by a series of chemical and physical reactions under alkaline conditions using natural polymer material-starch as raw material. Hydroxypropyl starch ether is a non-toxic, odorless, irregular phosphor or white powder that can be dissolved in cold water to form a transparent or translucent viscous liquid. It has the properties of thickening, bonding, dispersing, emulsifying, suspending, adsorbing, surface active, and retaining moisture.

Starch ether HPS is a chemically modified starch ether that is soluble in water and can be used with dry powder mortar
Widely used in tile adhesives, repair mortar, plaster plaster, internal and external wall putty, gypsum-based caulking and filling materials, interface agents, masonry mortar.

The main characteristics of starch ether are: (1) Improve sag resistance; (2) Improve workability.
